Applications for the 2024 Rome Scholarship have now opened. This is a tremendous opportunity for an artist to stay at ‘Sala Uno’, a prestigious gallery in the centre of Rome. It also comes with £5000 prize money for the winner, and £1000 for each of two runners-up.
This competition is open to artists who live, work or study in the UK and who are aged 35 years or under.
RBA RISING STARS Exhibition
Every year the RBA Education Committee selects 40 semi-finalists from the RBA Rome Scholarship to take part in an exhibition. These “RISING STARS“ aged 18 – 35 will have their work shown in the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) in Mayfair.
Three of these will be invited to an interview at the Mall Galleries in Central London. They will each be able to show one of their works alongside members at the RBA Annual Exhibition.
